The hotel's decoration is charming and filled with delightful little touches that make it feel cozy and inviting. The general areas are beautifully furnished, with comfortable seating and plenty of natural light. As a senior woman, I found the hotel to be very accessible, with wide hallways and elevators conveniently located. It made getting around a breeze!

I would have appreciated more attentive service from the staff, especially considering the needs of senior guests. It would have been nice if the children working there had been more proactive in assisting with any requests or questions.

I recently had a fantastic weekend getaway at a charming hotel nestled in a beautiful coastal location. the room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and boasted breathtaking views overlooking the sea. the friendly and attentive staff made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. the breakfast spread was delightful, with a wide variety of options to suit everyone's tastes. the hotel's location was convenient, with several excellent restaurants just a short walk away. One evening, I ventured further down the hill to a restaurant I had never been to before and had an unforgettable dining experience. the food was exquisite and the service was top-notch.

the lack of a passenger lift meant that I had to carry my luggage and navigate the stairs to reach my room.

the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. the hotel had a beautiful view of the sea, which was a lovely backdrop for our holiday. the hotel offered a delicious Christmas dinner with all the trimmings, which was a great way to celebrate the holiday.

the rooms were quite small and cramped, which made it difficult to relax and unpack.

Loved the fitness center, it was a great place to work out all those calories from the delicious food. , the hotel's location was perfect, close to beautiful beaches. And the coffee/tea makers were a lifesaver for my caffeine fix.

So exciting to not have a phone in the room, it really brought me right back to the 90s. Who needs a working television when you can just sit and stare at the wall?

our honeymoon stay in ilfracombe was amazing, and the tree house hotel exceeded all our expectations. the room was spacious and clean with a beautiful sea view. the staff were friendly and the breakfast was delicious, catering to our dietary needs. the hotel's period decor added to its charm and it was conveniently located near the promenade.

Our only minor issue was that the private facilities were not as exclusive as we expected, as there were other guests using them at the same time. Despite this, the staff ensured that our experience remained intimate and comfortable.

Great breakfast selection with homemade granola and friendly staff. Perfect location close to the main street and harbor, ideal for exploring the city. Comfortable and clean room with a nice shower.

The TV signal and wifi were a bit weak, and the lack of surfaces to place things on made the room seem echoey.

The only thing I would ask for to make it an even better vacation for senior people is more assistance from the staff. The children working there were kind, but sometimes it would have been helpful to have more hands available to assist with any needs or questions.

We stumbled upon The Habit Boutique after unsuccessfully finding anywhere we could eat that wasn't full or had stopped serving and most importantly was dog friendly. Wow. we sat on the terrace and enjoyed prosecco and a super two-course meal, so tasty, cooked perfectly and nice and simple. We were looked after impeccably and all the staff were friendly and very accommodating. Our pup was exhausted after a long day and although she is very well behaved anyway, she just slept while we enjoyed our evening, only to wake at the offer of a couple of tasty biscuits and water from a lovely member of staff. What a super find, we had a great time and the blanket to keep me warm was much appreciated especially as someone decided to sleep on my coat! Thank you to all the staff for a great evening and fantastic food.

The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the bath was a highlight. the room was clean and spacious, with immaculate bathrooms. the hotel had a great location, close to excellent nearby restaurants. the staff were friendly and helpful. a wonderful stay.

Stayed at The Tree House for one night and was thoroughly impressed. The staff went above and beyond to help us, the hotel was impeccably clean, and the food was absolutely amazing. The boutique decor and creative use of color gave the hotel a unique and luxurious feel. Our room had a powerful shower, fluffy towels, and luxurious Elmis products. The view of the sea and hill from Room 5 was breathtaking. Can't wait to return.

Would highly recommend this hotel.
